Hi Everyone,
Last summer my family and I had the chance to visit our good friends the Thorntons in the Willamette Valley at their family home, Taucross Farm, located 8 miles outside of tiny Scio, Oregon. We swam in the river, ate blackberries off the vine, baked pies, visited the nearby covered bridges and sampled the local pinot noir. It was glorious and we didn’t want to leave.
I took lots of pictures while I was there, some of the farm, of the surroundings and of the children playing. As a thank you gift to the Thorntons, I created this pencil sketch of the family farmhouse. They were thrilled.
“The art is beautiful and our entire experience with J.P. has been full of warmth and professionalism. J.P. captured the essence of our family farm, a place that is much-beloved by us all. We may not be able to keep the farm in the family forever; but now we will always have it. We are so grateful.”

If you have an image that you’d like commemorated into a work of art, let’s talk.
